Anita Knight - Updated January 24, 2011 Experience Anita has over 15 years in the direct marketing industry. Her initial experience was working for Advanstar Communications, a b2b publisher.  She sold and then managed their file covering a range of industries from beauty to telecommunications eventually leading to positions at Miller Freeman and TransAmerica Mailing.  Her extensive experience at these firms has given her a leg up on many occasions and serves a valuable asset for Black Book Data. In the late 90’s, Anita was on the ground floor of Focus USA, moving on to the consumer side in the early 2000’s, representing an aggregate consumer file.  She has attended numerous direct marketing training and seminars, with a focus on financial, consumer specialty, and Hispanic marketing.  Her knowledge of quality vendors is a hallmark of her brokerage. Working directly either with mailers or ad agencies, other brokers or marketing executives, Anita has been able to create and sustain successful direct marketing campaigns.  As the direct marketing industry evolves she continually seeks out new data and lead sources, asking the tough questions clients need to know before making a crucial marketing lead list investment. Hobbies & Interests Anita loves to design jewelry, which is sold at a local boutique. She also volunteers for a local animal rescue organization.
