Paula Alward joins Black Book Data with a strong sales and marketing background. With excellent marketing and management talent, Paula spent over 15 years working in the b-to-b industries, starting with Advanstar Communications in 1991 selling advertising in trade publications, trade show exhibits, and implementing new marketing niches within each industry. Marketing and direct mail campaigns helped to accelerate her into marketing products and services "outside of the box".
In 2003 Paula went to work at Nielsen Media again, excelling her sales and marketing abilities in the b-to-b industries. New product developments within trade publications led to substantial opportunities untapped in the b-to-b trade publications. Creating, implementing and tracking marketing efforts for clients led to successful opportunities for businesses to explore new and unique opportunities that led to successful marketing results.
Prior to b-to-b sales and marketing, Paula worked on the advertising side of the business, working directly with clients on their advertising campaigns and implement ad campaigns via TV, Radio and Print.
Paula completed a concentrated program of study in the field of professional management as well as participating in The Cleveland ad Club, The Northeast Ohio Direct Marketing Association and Direct Mail Workshops throughout the US.

Paula enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and playing with her two dogs, Baby and Charlie
